Latvian Motorcyclists federations’ (LAMSF) & OffroadMoto Clubs’ Offroad motorcycle tourist trophy - Zvārde 2010

Venue: Saldus district Zvārde poligon surroundings - "Zvejnieki".

Date: 19th and 20th of June 2010

Entrants: Sports enduro, street enduro solo motorcycles, Sports ATV and 4x4 ATV.

Route: Country roads and forest paths of Zvarde district.

Schedule Day 1:

8:00 - 9:00  Registration, technical commission.

9:30           Meeting, briefing and group photo.

10:00         Start from the base camp – recreational house "Zvejnieki" image file of map - here. Coordinates: N56 38 46.5 E22 33 52.1.

                 Riding on the terrain under supervision of instructors, approximately 3km to the   start venue of the first leg/stage.

10:30        1st leg: Rodeo – competition is held in a closed circle type track with various obstacles. Two riders per race with a 30 sec. gap. Each rider must complete 2 to 5 laps ( depending on the length & level of complexity).

12:00        Riding on the terrain under supervision of instructors, approximately 70 km.

14:15        Rest, lunch, fuel filling, motorcycle technical revamp.

15:15        Non-competitive riding to the venue of the 2nd stage.

16:00        2nd leg: Rally – riders in teams of two, unaided without the help of instructors, accomplish a marked route while scouting for checkpoints, and marking checklists. The route is set up in a manner that enables street enduro riders to bypass the hard sections via other routes. Additionally to increase the competence of the terrain entrants will receive terrain maps. Checklists and terrain maps will be handed after registration on the event day. Route should be completed within the time limits, whilst finding the checkpoints and marking the checklists. Teams start with a 0.5 – 1 min time gap. Length of the route aprox.  25 km. Team receives a 5 min penalty for each undetected checkpoint.

After completion of the 2nd leg riders submit their checklists to the route marshal, and in a non-competitive mode return to the base  - "Zvejnieki".

Supper, awarding ceremony, evening event and accomodation in the base station.

Organisers provide: dinner (buns, tea, coffee), supper (soup).

For the evening event entrants must bring a basket of food and refreshments.

9:00       Breakfast

10:00     Riding on the terrain under supervision of instructors, approx. 25 km. Riders must cross a fire-break and a couple of ditches

14:00      Finish

Sleeping in tents or vans/cars. Should you wish to sleep in a bed, add 5LVL extra (to be paid on spot at the recreational house)
